Some of these aren’t so healthy, but I’d love to try the Watermelon + Salt, and Mango + Cayenne Pepper combos!

I think I will be moving this blog
I mentioned yesterday that I wanted to rename my blog, but I think I will be moving it instead. I won’t be deleting this one, I will just submit one final post with a link to my new URL.
The reason for this is that I think I have a lot of negativity on this blog here, and I sincerely want a new, fresh, positive start. Not just wiping down an already used, slightly cracked slate - I want a whole new one.
I’ll probably do this on the 5th of August, so look out for my final post/link to new blog then!
Oh, and on a sort of unrelated note, I drank a lot of water yesterday! Well…at least a lot more than I have been drinking lately, which I am so happy about! it really does help having huge 1.5L bottles right in front of your face and drinking tea from amazing half-liter mugs :D
This is what my semolina will look like, in case anyone didn’t know what it was.
(This is not my own picture, and my semolina will not have that HA-UUUGE chunk of melted butter on it)

GET OFF YOUR ASS
smarthealth:
The more time you spend each day sitting, the more you shorten your lifespan. That’s what a study published in the July 22nd edition of theAmerican Journal of Epidemiology suggests. Researchers tracked the habits of 123,216 adults for 14 years. They found that women who spent 6 hours sitting down each day had a 37% greater risk of death than those who logged less than 3 hours off their feet. The increase was only 17% for men.
You’d think that exercise would offset this tend, and it does to some extent. Unfortunately, moderate exercise doesn’t entirely negate the effects of many hours spent idle. If you have an office job where you’re at a desk most of the time, make a point to get up and walk around as often as you can. Keeping your body moving can also provide an added boost in focus and alertness.
Shit, I have a lot of changin’ to do…
A federal judge ruled this week that Vitaminwater will not, as its labels promise, keep you “healthy as a horse.” Nor will it bring about a “healthy state of physical or mental being”. Instead, Vitaminwater is really just a sugary snack food; non-carbonated fruit coke disguised as a sports drink. Because it’s composed mostly of sugar and not vitamin-laden water, judge John Gleeson held that Vitaminwater’s absurd marketing claims were likely to mislead consumers. Coke tried to explain away claims like “vitamins + water = all you need” as “only puffery.” The judge disagreed.

Vitaminwater Isn’t Healthy, Rules Federal Judge - The Consumerist (via glamourandgrace)
I’ve been telling my friends this all along! I’m so glad it will no longer be a misconception that Vitaminwater is healthy, and a FACT that it is not.
